Tamia "Coop" Cooper (Bre-Z) is a Main-Character in "All American". Coop is the daughter of Reggie Cooper and Janelle Cooper. She is a current student at South Crenshaw High School; formerly a gang affiliate currently pursuing music under For Monica Records. Coop is the girlfriend of Patience Roberts. She is best friends with Spencer James; close friends with Layla Keating.

Spencer's best friend since childhood. Having grown up in South Crenshaw together, Coop is a driving force behind Spencer going to Beverly High, but it doesn't come for free because as her protector in life gets a new zip code, she's forced to find someone - or something - closer to home to keep her safe.

Season One

Spencer is conflicted on whether or not to move to Beverly High but Spencer's best friend, Coop, convinces Spencer it's an opportunity he has to seize.

Coop is also forced to learn a new set of rules, with Spencer's protective "Halo Effect" now gone. Coop faces her own truth, coming clean to her parents about being gay. Coop is also being seduced by a new way of life - gang life - and everything it offers her.

Spencer's worlds come together to celebrate his birthday in Beverly Hills. Coop and Patience struggle to define their blossoming romance. The return of Layla's music mogul father gives Spencer the perfect opportunity to give back to Crenshaw and reunite with an increasingly distant Coop. But Coop's deepening affiliation with Shawn's gang threatens Spencer's good intentions. Coop realizes that getting Shawn out of gang life may come at a steep price for her. Beverly has their big Homecoming game and the pressure is on.

Coop learns some disturbing information about a friend. As Coop gets more involved in gang life, her relationship with Patience is tested. Coop has conflicted emotions about reuniting with her father.

Coop desperately wants to bring down her enemies. Coop tries to stop a plan she set in motion, with tragic consequences.

Season Two

Coop has found her voice again through music, which may bridge the gap between her and her mom. After Coop shows off her rapping skills at school, she becomes more confident in her ability and decides to enter a freestyle battle.

Coop turns to Layla for help with her song and to get in good with Layla's dad, but Coop isn't prepared for what she hears.

Coop is shook when faced with Tyrone, but luckily she knows Preach is in her corner. Coop and Patience are trying to get back into a rhythm, but things get worse when Coop's jealous streak comes out. Knowing there is a big decision Spencer needs to make, the community from both Crenshaw and Beverly Hills rally around him to show support. In the meantime, Spencer asks Coop to do him a favor, but somehow things go from bad to worse. Layla thinks she knows what she wants to do with her future and needs Coop to do it.

Layla is excited about her and Coop's music, but Coop is distracted about what is going on in the streets. Coop is feeling smothered by everyone and makes a tough decision about her potential future. Layla continues to help Coop with her music which helps Coop receive an offer that she wasn't expecting. Layla is focused on trying to get Coop a tour for the summer but isn't having much luck, so she comes up with a different strategy that makes everyone happy.
