Asher Adams (Cody Christian) is a Main-Character in "All American". Asher is the son of Harold Adams and Gwen Adams; as well as the soon-to-be step-son of Jacob. He is a current student at Beverly Hills High School; a former player for the Eagles -- #83 -- currently dealing with a steroid addiction. Asher is the boyfriend of Olivia Baker; as well as the ex-boyfriend of Layla Keating. He is best friends with Jordan Baker; shares an on again/off again rivalry with Spencer James.

Beverly High’s wide receiver. Feeling threatened by Spencer’s role on the team, Asher was almost successful in getting rid of Spencer from the team. After a good look at what his life had turned into, Asher worked hard to get back on the right path – with the team and his friends.

Season One

While riding the exhilarating wave of a three-game winning streak, Spencer becomes seduced by the Beverly Hills good life leading to an unexpected adventure with Asher.

Spencer's worlds come together to celebrate his birthday in Beverly Hills. Billy, Jordan and Asher take a journey to Malibu to scout their next big rival as tensions simmer between Jordan and Asher. At an explosive homecoming dance, friendships in both Crenshaw and Beverly will be put to the test when decisions made by Spencer trigger an avalanche that drastically changes the course of several lives. Beverly has their big Homecoming game and the pressure is on.

Season Two

Asher turns to Olivia for support when someone from his past wants to see him.

An exhibition 7-on-7 rematch of the Beverly Eagles vs. South Crenshaw creates tension for all players. Olivia and Asher are trying to figure out what the future for them means. Asher gets some clarity from his parents on what happened in the last year, which helps Olivia and Asher to figure out their own stuff, too.

Olivia is nervous about her upcoming SoLA Muse Cotillion and tries to lean on Asher, but he seems more focused on football than ever. Knowing there is a big decision Spencer needs to make, the community from both Crenshaw and Beverly Hills rally around him to show support. Jordan and his teammates step up to help Billy out while he is tending to other matters. Asher's teammates and Olivia have been noticing a difference in Asher's performance and attitude on and off the field, leaving them to wonder why he is pushing himself so hard.

Olivia struggles in believing Asher and turns to Billy for help. Olivia questions whether she did the right thing by going to Billy about Asher, leaving Billy to have to make a tough choice in order to protect his team. Olivia and Asher are both guilt ridden for different reasons when it comes to Billy and the position he now finds himself in. Asher has an opportunity to spend the summer with his mom but isn't sure if he should go.
